They were the first member of K-pop group to be honored 'top social artist award' at the Billboard Music Awards in May 2017.

Their next album, their fifth album released in September 2017, is 《Love Yourself 承 `Her`》 a record sales record of 1.2 million copies in 13 days since its release.

Since then, it has topped the Gaon chart's annual album chart with its highest sales volume, breaking the record of 1.49 million copies (as of Jan. 12), and secured its position as a "Album King".

They broke the previous records by making it to the seventh place on the Billboard 200 list, setting the top Korean singer in the world and setting the best record in Asia.

The title song, " DNA, " made it into 85th place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, the main singles chart, making it a great debut for BTS. 

It rose to 67th place after a week, breaking the K-pop group's ranking (76th place recorded by the Wonder Girls ' English version of " Nobody ").

It was also the first time for a Korean artist to have five albums on the Billboard 200 Chart, making it the first Korean artist to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously for four weeks in a row.

BTS, the first of its kind as a K-pop group in November 2017 and the only Asian musician to be invited to the 2017 American Music Awards as " Performer, " has ended its successful U.S. debut. 

In December 2017, the remix version of the new song " MIC Drop " was ranked 28th on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record of BTS and K-pop group's best record. 

It was the first K-pop group to rank No. 1 on the iTunes " Top Song Charts " in the United States.
BTS was awarded the Best Song of the Year award for the Mnet Asian Music Awards in December 2017, 

the Best Song Award for the Year, 

the Best Artist for the Year, 

and the Best Album Award for the Golden Disc Awards in January 2018.

Since their debut, they have sold about 5 million albums worldwide.

BTS, which is known for its immense pandomum and influential social media, was ranked # 1 on Twitter in the past month by Forbes magazine in March 2016.

Then, Twitter released the first K-pop tweeter emoticons with BTS in May.

In October of 2016, BTS won the top spot on the Billboard Social 50, making it the first K-pop group to reach the top of the charts.

So far, they are ranked No. 1 on the social 50 chart in a total of 64 weeks.

They were ranked fifth on Forbes Korea's list of " 2017 Power Celebrity " in February 2017. 

The American weekly magazine People's magazine introduced the BTS, which stole the hearts of music fans all over the world, as being " the most popular boy group in the world. "

According to the Guinness Book of World Records on Nov. 20, 2017, 

BTS were listed in the Guinness Book of World Records 2018 for the "Most Active Men's Group on Twitter".

The New York Times was the only Asian artist to be ranked 44th on the list of " America's Favorite Artist. "

In December,

according to the Bloomberg News, an American business magazine,

they became the world's top performer with 522 million times in retweet count, topped the world.
